With many parents struggling to grow their own identity, careers, passions and social network after having children, there’s been a desperate need to provide a solution for parents wanting to get out of their rut. Kin & Kind has recently entered into this space to provide a workshop environment where parents can rekindle the enthusiasm for parents of their life which might have been otherwise neglected.
Through their workshops and meetups you can learn a new skill (or brush up on an old one), talk about what you love, meet new people and spend time focusing on something other than child-rearing. The broad range of 90 minute workshops and meet-ups cover everything from creative writing, gardening and woodwork to career guidance and personal development. You can enjoy a coffee and most importantly, childcare is offered in the same building (for an extra fee). Children 0-4 months are welcome to join the classes. While most of our sessions are facilitated by experienced practitioners, Kin & Kind also welcome parents with amazing skill sets who have things to share, to teach and pass on.
Single and group bookings are available through the Kin & Kind website – find out more today.
