Unfortunately when it comes to hookah lounges and shisha bars in Perth, people don’t get too much of a choice of where they can go when compared to some of the other major Australian cities. However, that means that only the best shisha lounges in Perth are in business. Here’s our list of recommendations if you want to smoke up at a shisha bar in Perth.

Shisha Nights – West Perth

If you’re looking for a hookah lounge to smoke at in the heart of Perth, Shisha Nights could be your new favourite shisha spot. They are traditionally Middle Eastern in their decor, vibe, and extensive menu featuring Persian, Afghani and Turkish cuisines for you to taste. They also have pizza, burgers and chips on the menu if you’re in the mood for that instead. If you enjoy their cultural food, they also host open buffets on Saturdays that include entrees, mains, desserts and drinks as well as a DJ and belly dancers.

If you feel like celebrating a special occasion, they provide VIP karaoke rooms if you want to sing and smoke the night away with your friends. Shisha Nights is also fully licensed, meaning you can enjoy the selection of drinks they have on offer whether you feel like a beer, a cocktail or a cheeky shot. With a wide range of classic shisha flavours on offer, you won’t be disappointed if you decide to give them a visit.

Open from 12pm on all days, closing time ranges from midnight to 5am depending on the day. Check them out here for more details.

80 Outram Street, West Perth WA 6005

Perth Hookah Lounge – East Victoria Park

A short trip from East Perth will take you to East Victoria Park, where you can find Perth Hookah Lounge. Not only do they have regular flavoured tobacco for their shisha but they also have a herbal teabacco menu, which is made from top quality black tea leaves and consequently contains no tar or nicotine. There are over 30 flavours to choose from between the menus, and if you feel like staying longer getting a flavour refill is discounted for your convenience.

The lounge itself is quite modern and well equipped for you to enjoy your shisha. They have white wicker chairs and red cushions to sit on, multiple widescreen TVs to enjoy sports or music videos, as well as gas heaters in the outdoor alfresco area when the weather calls for it. They also provide live entertainment on Friday nights, bringing in professional belly dancers to watch while you sit back and smoke shisha. If you’re feeling hungry, you can choose food from their menu such as kebabs, pizza, burgers, chips, gozleme, pide, and for those with a sweet tooth they also serve baklava.

Open from 12pm on all days, closing at 2am except for Friday and Saturday nights at 3am instead. Check them out here for more details.

363 Shepperton Road, East Victoria Park WA 6101

Cedar Cafe – Cannington

Despite their name suggesting that they are a cafe, Cedar Cafe is actually closer to a restaurant that has been visually styled similarly to traditional American diners. Lebanese and Mediterranean food are served here, with lots of great dishes available for you to eat with affordable prices. Accessibility is no problem here as there is a vast number of parking spots available in the area, as well as conveniently being located across from Queens Park Station for people that can’t drive or are drinking.

Cedar Cafe is the place to go to smoke shisha if you’re a morning person, opening at 9am every day which is a lot earlier compared to other shisha lounges. With a comfortable, relaxing outdoor garden to enjoy your shisha in, Cedar Cafe is definitely a place you should consider giving a visit whether it’s for a meal or to have a smoke.

Open from 9am on all days, closing at 1am except for Friday and Saturday nights at 2am instead. Check them out here for more details.

They provide customers with an expansive food menu which includes modern and traditional dishes for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert. Whether you want to quickly grab an easy bite or sit down for a full meal, they’ve got you and anyone else you bring covered. Up In Smoke Cafe & Shisha Lounge is a fully licensed venue, with a good range of beers, wines, and spirits available for you to enjoy with your meal or with your freshly made shisha.

Just like their food menu, they have lots of tobacco flavours available for you to mix and match to your liking. They also have fresh fruit heads available for additional cost, depending on what you choose. On Saturday nights they also provide entertainment with a live DJ and belly dancing, for you to enjoy with your food, drink and shisha.
